Well, I usually go the Micro$oft route when thinking of things like that... Which mean, they probably made it because it was cheap and easy to do, and they expect you to change it (for a fee).

Actually, it's the second line that's working wrong. No member name, no total posts, no join date.
Kind of like if the forum started counting Guest posts in the "Top 10 posters" list, if you ask me.

The second line is not wrong, other than it's supposed to be at the top. It's supposed to show the total of all the lower lines. I.E. the number total of posts of the top 10 members of that day and the % posts they've done. When I looked at it, your name was there instead.

EDIT: Actually, after a quick look, the "first" top poster is obviously the "guest" account... so that's alright, most posts today were made by guests
