What's interesting is that everybody talking about this is registered. And the fact is most noobies are not so much noobies as quite often unregistered users who think they can just get a question answered without looking to see if their question was already answered, get it answered straight away, and if the answer works never come back to the forum again until they have another question, which again, they don't bother to see if it's been answered.

Hence my poll. Registered or not? I think people that are registed tend to take things more seriously (on average) and are more likely to ask questions in one thread, but if they find the answer outside of the forum come back and let other people know. They also are more likely to help people. Hence no unregistered users have joined this thread, or probably even read it. I doubt that many unregistered users even come to the 'site comments/suggestions area because they are mostly about getting a technical question answered to a paerticular game and then they're off!

Well, that's kind of what guests do. They're scavengers preying upon the technologically outfitted minds of members...and quite frankly, I think some members enjoy helping guests.

I wouldn't call Guests scavengers by any means. They tend to donate more money than regulars

Well, quite bliuntly, because nothing has been done about it, it is the worse site I come to regarding the forums. So I started using the forums when I first found the site, but now I come for the games, the reviews and the first page or two of that game's forum, and then I am off. Any other info I can get elsewhere on the web. After about page 3 or 4 of a game title forum, it gets very noobie, selfish unregistered and repetitive questions - and therefore not an enjoyable read at all, like most forums on most sites. Ho hum.

Well, that's kinda the way it's going to be. This is a game website, and most guests don't bother to read the FAQs (the lazy bunch!), so questions are bound to be repeated...and also, you might want to start looking somewhere other than forums for reading material because that's how most forums are going to get.

I reccomend going HERE if you're bored.
