Hi, I have downloaded Detroit. It will run but neither my mouse or keyboard will work in the game. any ideas. it works fine on my mates computer

What OS are you using, and are you using DOSBox or VDMSOund?

Hmm... What computer do you have? Which windows (and what about your friend)?

You might try and download the game again - there might have been a file corupted during the download, but I don't think that's it. You should try and download DOSBox (do you know how to use MS-DOS - if you don't you should read the manual carefully).

Im on Windows Xp, i got dosbox downloaded but cant work it out. not very good with MS-dos. My mate has Xp too,

First download the game again.
Now make a folder on C drive named Detroit.
Extract the downloaded file to that folder.
Run DOSBox, and you'll see
z:>
then type
mount c: c:\ - press enter (off course)
next type
cd detroit - again press enter
now type
DETROIT - press enter again
and the game should run with mouse and all!

Just want to say i had the same problem and searched throuhg the forums for 'mouse problems'. Even though i'm too young to be a DOS man i figured Dos Box out eventually and this solution worked. Thanks to everyone who helps people out with these problems.
