i'm sure all of you know moments, when you play a game, and you suddently feel
amazed by a certain screen within the intro, a cutscene or simply within the game itself. for a moment, you forget that you are watching a piece of software and it manages to impress you by the mere beauty of the actual display. i want to open this threat, so that we have a place to present such screenshots which kept us spellbound. thereby it does not matter, if it is taken from an old or a new game...only the aestethic value counts. i'd be glad if you like to share your moments of wonder with us! |

Morrowind is ALL like that. You should do a screenshot of Ebonheart, with the dragon statue in the front....
Actually, I don't think you could take enough epic screenshots from Morrowind. I love that game. (Therefore, my ex-BF hated it, heh). That longest journey screen reminds me of Madmax_FMM's work. That's probably why it looked so familiar to me. Is there a good way to get screenshots from FFX? There were some freakin' amazing scenes in that game. |

You should do the picture in Morrowind when the night falls and you see 2 planets in the sky, very beautiful...

I think Morrowind has the most beautiful graphic in any game ever, true it doesn't have all the fancy dx9 effects, but still it is so detailed and different...

Longest Journey's not for nothing a legend among games. Here's one that striked me as well. Couldn't play further as I was out, laughing for a full fifteen minutes. Not a strikingly beautiful scene, but striking just the same.
Megaman 64 (note... you can't name yourself in the game. You're automatically Megaman Vollnut) In this scene, they asked what your name is. |
