Im sorry, I really dont have any clue what to do with Dos...

When I opened the nc55en.zip file, all i found in there was nc551en1.img, nc551en2.img, and nc551en3.img

okay... heres exactly what i did.

My "oldgames" file is called dosprog so what i have is
C:\dosprog\
Under that file i have a few files (for some games i want, but haven't installed yet) one of those files includes
C:\dosprog\NCInst
In this file I originally tried dumping the contents of nc55en (opened the archive and extracted the files to NCInst) and that didn't work, then i tried deleting those files, and putting the archive into NCInst, and still no luck.
I am getting the CD NCInst command to work, not the install command..

I think I understand the problem...

You only downloaded the zip-file containing the image files (nc551en1.img, etc.), right?

This zip conatins images of floppys, which in order to acces you must mount with a specific programme ("floppy image virtual drive" or something like that).

HOWEVER

This is not the zip you should download, at least not if you want to go by the tutorial.

At the Norton Commander Entry you should instead click the "Get It!" button (or the screenshot).

This zip archive, NC.zip contains the "real files", and it should be extracted to the Ncinst folder (in this case).

One thing I noticed was that I myself did automaticly download the img files too. I feel that it is quite probable that this issue could arise again if the structure of the download page is the same, as of now the img-files links looks far to tempting...
