You've changed your avatar, Dreadlord? Nice! I'm sorry but I got this game mixed up with another. I'll get Sebatianos to drop in as he's the expert on this one

Edit:
There is a game called 4D Sports Boxing. Wonder if a punching glove actually shoots out of the monitor?

Hey, if peeps will stop bickering fer a sec, can I ask something? How is this 3d?
Maybe they misspelt the title, and it became "3d" instead of "3rd"?

btw - Really liked ur hompage reminded me of the foul year of our lord 1987 mr in 3rd grade or something like that watching for the first time a movie that fetures a stupid looking flying dragoon with a nurdy boy riding it. loved every minute i must add.

Thanks, Seabass. Nice of you to drop in. That movie you described sounds like The Neverending Story. The background midi music is the theme from the movie.

@Maerlyn - I'd say the news segment is crapy... But the thing is I wanted to add the game - this also means one must write something for the news section... I wanted to work Red Diabolo (who supplied the game and the review) in the news segment - so I got really cheezy. I might change it (I'm always open tio suggestions). And when it comes to stirnig things up - there's no need to stir anything when it comes down to religion - people always end up argueing about something (I should know, I'm one of them).

@Dreadlord - The name 3D was given, but the game hasn't real 3D graphics. In comparison to some older boxing/wrestling/karate games you can move more then just left and right (even Mortal Kombat only lets you move toward and away from the enemy - right up to the MK4).

That's the opinion of the reviewer. The game is a solid boxing game and we haven't that much sport games to begin with. The game is by no means bad - it's just not 'the best boxing game ever'.
And I doubt that most members (who review and contribute) are great fans of sport games (e have 99 adventures, 67 strategies... but under 20 sport games). A sport game fan might give this game more then 2.

I'm a sports games fan, and this is poor. Boxing games are notoriously hard to do, and this semi 3d approach was novel for it's time. However, random button bashing wins every time all the way to the end. I give this game a rating of .

Almost. The 4th D comes from the possibility to view the game through the eyes of the boxers (yes, even your opponents if you want to). While this is pretty useless, the facial expressions of the fighters make replays fun to watch.
