Talking Windows 8 Preview

Hi, all,

Maybe some good soul will be so kind to write down a short preview of the new Windows 8?

Thank You for your time.

It is a Microsoft Windows OS, it has a Metro thing. Or you could look at these two pages,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_8

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/w...nsumer-preview

Google is your friend.

I've tried the developers preview as it came out and my... it sucked.

They've changed a few things here and there which I was accustomed to since win95.

It's just horrible.

There's not much more to say about this OS. I'll skip this one and they actually have to give me money using it.

The only reason a gamer might upgrade possibly could be a future new direct x version. But that's the only effin' reason.

Thumbs down

Instead of my usual "I have bad feelings about this", let me just quote people with bigger names:

Valve says "I think Windows 8 is a catastrophe for everyone in the PC space."

Blizzard tweets "not awesome for Blizzard either".

Thanks a lot for the links, especially for the second link.
I read carefully all comments.
My decision is to stay with 7 the maximum possible period.
(I still use XP.)
I like 7.
I have no need to start this difficult new OS installation when all in my PC will go to hell.
No, no i know this feeling. The small problem results in ...yes...blue screen of death..
Moreover, all drivers are kaput..
Again will be required boost of my machine.
No, thanks.
...
For now the present 7 serves me well.

I honestly have no idea about this, I think Microsoft wants to have things in common between PC and mobile OS versions?

But I read a funny joke somewhere: "Windows 8, now with 99% less windows!"

Here's my review of Windows 8. Unfortunately it is pretty long and to not bore you all, so I have prepared a long and a short version. I'll start with the short one:

Crap

Hehe , well that was a bit short, wasn't it? So without further delay, here is the long version:

Utter Crap
