I'll start the list: Airborne Ranger Barbarian - Simple controls make this game nice and fun to play Card Sharks -The poker game Elite - Classic game F14 - Great flight simulator Ghostbusters - Worst game ever! IK+ - Another classic game, simple controls and multiplayer options Law of the West Little Computer People Sims on C64 Maniac Mansion Micro League Wrestling Mission Impossible Pirates Raid Over Moscow Rick Dangerous 1 & 2 - Buch better then Indy game on C64 Sargon 1 - 3 - First good chess program on computers Tai-Pan - Trader before Pirates and other simillar games. Turrican 1 & 2 - Great platformer, to bad it came out at the time of C64 decline Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders - My first point'n'click adventure game I know some of you are more into C64 games then I was, so it would be nice to create list of good C64 games woth to try! BTW - this game's intro was the first time I heard the famous MWAHAHAHAHA laughter! Could it be that this is its origin? |

Where's the *beep*in' "Last Ninja"-Series? Some of the best games ever made on C64! k:
"Platoon" was another favourite of mine. "To be on Top" - Music games never were more fun. But what do I bother, there were literally TONS of great games on C64 (I still prefer the original "Maniac Mansion" to any other ported version, including the "Deluxe"-remake...) And all I can say about "Ghostbusters" is: "T.T. IS BIG!" |

Barbarian
I loved how that little green thing kicked away the heads ^^ Boulder Dash Collecting diamonds while avoiding monsters and falling rocks - really addicting and great fun! IK+ Great animations and superb gameplay. One of the best beat em ups for the C64 Last Ninja 1 + 2 Unique gameplay, a little bit hard to handle when playing the first time, but after that you gotta love The Last Ninja. Especially the music ( Matt Gray ) was the best the C64 had to offer that time. Lazy Jones Though the music got annoying fast it was always fun to walk around the floors playing simple minigames. Maniac Mansion My first point & click-adventure ever, but never finished it. Impossible Mission "Another visitor. Stay a while... staaaaaaay forever!" :w00t: Turrican 1 & 2 Speaks for itself, I guess. Usagi Yojimbo Atmospheric music, interesting gameplay. Definitely unique game. Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders If you haven't played Zak McKracken, you never played a real point & click-adventure. It's a MUST PLAY. ( finished this game several times )
