well, if he does get killed, in case the author wants that, the book will sell pretty good at the start, but interest over the series will drop as fans get angry. if rowling is pressed by the publishers to continue making profits, she might just kill someone else or something like that. I'd say ron or hagrid. because they seem killable.

anyway, I think this just some publicity act to sell the next book and the movies. I think when the first movie was published, that was the death of the whole series. People don't actually read it anymore, since they can watch in the movies...that is so pathetic... So I don't even care who will die, Harry Pooper is long dead in my eyes... <_<

I have a theory! After smokin' a few too many joints, Harry will shave his "harry" in front of Voldermort. Voldermort's head will slowly inflate then explode, and then Harry will become a musician. Him and those two friends of his will sing durring the credits.

The series was only ever supposed to be 7 books long, patterned after the british secondary school system. If she wants to end it at book 7 killing potter may be the only choice.
