only 30 posts on this game.. too many young people here it seems.

this game is the best ever ! no kidding. it cost me endless hours of my life, every second well spent!

as immersive as possible!

nothing more relaxing than throwing boulders without end just to ascend a level.

and the most marvelous red dragon i ever saw.

*sniff*

The Screamers and the purple worms are great food and the areas definitely repeat going back to for additional food to fill your chests. The only better food source are the rats .

Big tip for playing. When you get the staff and make it on the very bottom level then be careful not to cross the switch plate holding the staff. If you do - it seals the upper levels off and you can't get back up to food. You can toss the staff across the plate and then cross and the master staircase won't close off...

Some of the monsters do come from generators. Almost exclusively though the monsters from generators are generated from walking on a certain square. So walking backwards and forwards looking around can often trigger new monsters.

One exception I can think of is a room full of Screamers (tree things), and these are generated over time. It's on one of the lower levels and basically is a godsend for collecting food supplies.

Oh, I remembered about the rock monsters - hit them when they attack you for maximum damage i.e. when their face comes out of the rock.

"On Remembering Dungeon Master"

It was in 1989 that I discovered the enchanting Dungeon Master RPG game. The dramatic dark shadows cast upon stones, gold laden doorways and the shimmer of blue liquid contained in the flasks added to the beauty and mystery of this revolutionary game. Because there was no soundtrack except for the ambient sound effects a rising portcullis, or the a click of discrete button, I would put on the classic works of Gustav Holst “The Planets.” To this day this is my favorite piece of music and it always brings me back to the beckoning corridors of “Dungeon Master.”

This game is a classic I found a SNES manual for it somewhere. Heres a spell list for it. I found it quite useful.

Hi, there,
Why this game is so though?
I am in Level 3 totally confused. It so dark around. My foods and water finished. A rock-like creatures attacked and killed me so easy?
What's going on?
Why?
I am not novice in RPG games but now I have no hope to beat these monsters.
How to use?
- magic box?
- scrolls?
- to produce water and food and other magics like never ending torches?
Yes, many questions ,But situation is out of control.

Any help is welcomed.
