Is FireFly any good? I nearly bought Serenity on DVD the other day but decided not to since I had no idea what it was like.

Dang, bit off-topic there. Erm, favourite Dwarf episode - a1s mentioned Tikka To Ride which was indeed genius ("You're smoking!" "Oh, has my generator unit overheated?" "A cigarette!" "Oh, you want me to go outside?") but I think Gunmen of the Apocalypse tops it (the Riviera Kid's method of stopping Kryten from fleeing the town is pretty awesome), although Back to Reality is probably my favourite - both funny and interestingly written

Fire Fly is freaking amazing. It is one of the funniest and best written shows ever. Joss Whedon is amazing. I would watch the series before I watch Serenity if I was you though. The movie kind of spoils some plot points in the series.
