Nice site, I'm glad somebody is actually willing to host games that may otherwise get ya in trouble lol. I hope you'll stay online for a long time.
I'm one of the Admins and basically is the Admin of mypixels.dk/forums for the time being. I build the CVS Version for people who want to try new features and perhaps get things to work much better. Honestly the Devs should release a new version soon because there is a heck of a lot of new features and plenty of new support for old MS-DOS games. Almost all of the Sierra CD Games run properly now for me except for King's Quest 6 I think. I have to use Tandy Sound instead of Soundblaster Sound for it to run without crashing on me. Nearly all Disk versions of DOS games seem to work for me in DOSBox in the long run. BTW: I have tons of old MS-DOS games, recently I've been collecting ISOs and BIN/CUEs from P2P (eMule)... Gotta love eMule. I was able to get EcoQuest 1 CD version ... took a looong time to get it too. Maybe I can be of service as well as us people who play the CVS version of DOSBox which gets built on a near weekly basis unless there are major revisions coming out on the code. :P Ieremiou... <- If you see this name. It's most likely me (nobody I know uses that nick). I'm a Internet Junkie :P. Oh yeah, I'm from Michigan originally and moved to New York. (USA for those who don't know the States) :P. I made a little tutorial to get DOSBox CVS to run Wing Commander: Privateer (for the CD Verison but it should work similarly with the Disk Version) off the HardDrive instead of the CD :P. Also the CVS can run Crusader: No Remorse and No Regret but can be slow and you have to run at lowest values for decent performance. BTW: I have the old MS-DOS only CD Version of X-Com: Terror from the Deep... I know there was a MS-DOS CD version of X-COM: Ufo Defense/Enemy Unknown but have yet to locate it. :? |
