Default How to use DOSBox Game Launcher

(Demonstration video downside of the tutorial, please watch it full screen if you wanna be able to see text in the video!)

How to use DOSBox Game Launcher

With DOSBox Game Launcher (DBGL) everybody, even begginer, should be able to run a dos game without any problems.

First step, download the freeware program DOSBox Game Launcher on http://members.quicknet.nl/blankendaalr/dbgl/

Second step, unpack it and then double click on dbgl.

Third step, click on add profile, on this case as demonstration purpose i'm showing you it with the game Stunts! So on Title space write Stunts then click Consult Mobygames (now you gonna have a choice, choose the one is yours)

Fourth step, click Display, change the output to opengl and click the case on Aspect Correction (however some game will look better without the aspect correction, so do it as you feel better)

Fifth step, click Machine, on Cycles section change it to 7500

Sixth step, click Audio, on Soundblaster column chnage sb16 to sbpro2 (Well a lot of person prefer to let it to sound blaster 16, however if you want to listening game like people were listening it in the 90's put it to sound blaster pro 2)

Seventh step (this is the most important step), click mounting and then on main section click browser (and go to the folder of game and choose the executable of your game in this case this is stunts.bat) do the same with the setup (in this case this is setup.exe)

Eighth step, click ok.

Nineth step, select Stunts in the list and right-click choose setup, be sure that your setting is the same that you've just made in precedent steps. Once done, choose exit.

Tenth step, double-click on Stunts and then the game gonna work!

(Remember that some games doesn't have any setup, so don't panic if you don't find any!)
