It would be great if the person who edited this review could edit all my future reviews. Great job, errors are fixed and the spirit of the review remain untouched. Bravo!

Thumbs up

If you played the game and liked the soundtrack, a lot of it was done by the band Afro Celt Sound System..interesting band to look into also.

I have this game on cd, back when it was in the bargain bin. It was a little difficult to control especially when it came to casting building spells like the healing fountain, and moving behind large buildings like temples that were apart of the scenery.
Just be careful, I tend to have found a bug in obtaining one of the reagents in the third world. I think it was iron (can't be sure as it has been a while since i have played).

Bethesda support doesn't mention the v 1.1 patch:

(scroll down on the list)

Magic and mayhem forum:

BTW the game is really marvellous in hotseat: just play with two virtual machines. (also great for running in linux)

Link that The Fifth provided is dead.
I searched Bethsoft.com and don't see that Magic & Mayhem is even mentioned and certainly not supported.
