Hey people. I started downloading a file on the c: partition of my drive, the hitch is that the file is about 5 gigs too big for the partition...
Is there any way to divert the download if I move the file over to the other drive?
Any assistance would sure be appreciated.

Yeah, if you're using Bittorrent there is. Just stop the download, move the file, open the torrent file again, and selct the destination where you moved the file to. The program will check the file and continue from the point where it got to before you moved it.

i recommend azureus as the bittorrent client.

(although if you're going to try it, or another client, wait until you've finished getting this big file

No use Bittornardo, ABC or BitComet instead. Azureus is slow because it uses java.

using azureas now, it rocks as far as i'm concerned....although i'm used to low staus on e-mule :P I actually resumed the download halfway in azareus and it performed without a hitch. It is fully capable of resuming a download, thought you might like to know.
btw, I found a dirt cheap biostar m7ncd nforce 2 socket A mother board, so i scraped my other plan, and am now going for that board with an amd xp 2400+. The board supposedly offers some over clocking potential, although I'm still not sure if the multipliers are open or if it has pci/agp lock. From what I've read the cpu core I chose runs pretty cool, and can be pushed up to 2900+ speeds if cooled properly....good thing I only shelled out 300 for this config. cause I just might fry these components LOL.
