That's actually something I'm still confused about. I sometimes have little faith in decisions I make.

Story:
I usually accompany her to a school service (guys paid to bring students home in set time schedules) so we share a few words and alert her of the time so she doesn't get left behind. After quite a while, she gave me a "thank-you" letter and... poof. It was gone in the blink of an eye. It was her new boyfriend this time. I did not feel jealous but rather used. She says thank you which meant like "thanks, but I won't need you anymore" so that hurt quite a lot. Then as days passed I saw her hanging out with new friends, so at first it was okay. Then I noticed she started to gain interest in her new friends, her boyfriend and our "barkada" or kinda like a circle of old friends but I felt like she was losing interest in our friendship. Oh yay. This happened until the point where she would say hi and nothing else. Then she would treat me like I'm some invisible guy who she can see straight through. So I was really hurt and angry. It kinda felt like "After a year of good friendship it ends like this? I get thrown away?" So right now I'm mad at her and won't say a word to her. That's my decision which I'm still not sure if it's the right one.

Hard part: I don't know who's fault is it. Is it mine or hers? Please answer. BTW don't play favorites here. Think about it carefully. I'll take criticisms. Thank you
Whats the point in playing the blame game anyway? Maybe you did something initially to make her pull away, maybe she has changed her priorities in life, maybe her boyfriend was threatened by your friendship and has told her to end it, maybe she is so into you she will never be able to express herself fully so has given up completely.

Unless you ask her you will never know why, and even then she may not know herself. Friendships sometimes end unfortunately, and yes it hurts. But needing to lay the blame at someones feet, yours or hers, is only feeding the pain.

I keep waking up at 5:30 Whyyy? Anyway... Ian, just don't internalise it. Don't let yourself feel like there's something wrong with *you*. You're a nice guy and you will grow into an honourable man. The type of person others may treat like dirt just because it's easy. (Sometimes i find it very hard to turn the other cheek and not take revenge... People like to trample on me just because they can.) But be assertive and lay down boundaries. If that's how she wants to treat you, fine. But she'll have to understand in future that you can't trust her again, because she abuses it. And that's simply a self-protection measure on your part. Believe me, Ian, some people are just not the type to let close to you.... Now i'm finished being the forum psych for one day, i feel like the girl in Peanuts. The doctor is in. Psychiatric help: 5c
