's up? i could get twinsen's odessy to work, except with no sound. I remember when this game first came out, i had a hell of a time getting it to work. Lots of sound issues.

Secondly: I've downloaded it from the underdogs, and I'm having trouble starting it that I thought you good people could help me with

it's incorectly branded as "request", but it's actualy troubleshooting.
the problem we have (now it's my problem also) is that the game incorrectly displays from windows, and does not find CD from DOSBox (yes! dispite being oficialy a win95 game it apafrently works for dos).

That just means y'all have a buggy version. My game works flawlessly from Win XP. The problem with LBA2 is that the graphic needs special attention.

You should be able to find a graphic patch on the net. After that it should run perfectly from Windows.

I'm sorry to say this, but my new problem is that whenever the game begins, it restarts my computer after I start Twinsen walking. Why is this?

It might be you are the unlucky one out.

As the patch will tell you, it doesn't fix every operating system and/or computer/laptop.

For instance. I can play LBA2 perfect on this laptop using the patch, but I can't play it on my second laptop. The patch doesn't work with it. The two laptops are identical, except for the producer.

If you have a second machine, I would propose you try the game (with the patch) on that one. If not, I don't know. Some things can't be fixed by the common man and woman.
