Thumbs up

Hella!

I just though if anyone had the irresistible urge to preserve his/her thoughts in a book? Or just like to read?

I'm personally writing one. Inspired about Freelancer

What's your opinion?

Yeah I started writing one 2 years ago and go on from time to time...it's a parody of fantasy, partially inspiredd by the books of Terry Brooks in the first 2 chapters, more personal from the 3rd on.

Right now I'm writing a dialogue with philosophical elements that I'll use for my exams.
The theme is how we can use violence to others by trying to impose our vision of the world.

Edit: And I wrote a 70 pages diary when I went to Germany on a trip last year.

I used to write a lot...
Wrote a lot, then i used to take a break.
I would put a password to the document, so nobody would see it. Then I'd accidentally forget the password.

Thats an interesting point there Void, good lcuk with that...
I'll read it if you lemme have it... k:

@OMG

Then do just that! If you have inspiration, you can do it! Who knows, maybe after some time, we will read it as a bestseller

---

I've started to write another book actually. It is about an outcast angel guy, who got sent to Earth as a sentece for self-justice(killed the killer of his beloved). He became a pivate cop, and started solving mysterious cases... the rest is yet to be written... and no, it's not based upon the "Angel" series, not even close... (but I hav eto admit, my main character looks like David Boreanaz a little  )...

Anybody else? k:

EDIT: Puffin, I can give ya a "MS Word Password Recovery"...khm...tool Then you can resume your writing k:
What is your book about?

the faveorate thing i got that i started and failed to finish is about a guy who gets in trouble with the mafia, its set in london in the future. in order to stop the kids going out and shooting each other the goverment has legalised shooting in a special zone. people are allowed to gamble on the outcome of bouts and the goverment ususes the taxes to enforce tighter gun control on the streets. the guy who the book kinda focuses around is tooled with logic implants and a pshychotic level of analytical processing, to an illegal level as hes wiped out some pointless stuff, like a couple of emotions, and the fact he cant taste he just recieves the sensation as numerical data, hes a bit of a messed up junky though, so he needs loads of cash. so he makes bets with the underworld who will take bets well into a bout , even when people are wounded they will take odds,
and hes way too good at making money from his bets ..

Playbahnosh wanted to see my story, so I just put it as an attachment here, so everybody can see it.....

P.S. admin should add a "writing" section to music and art, so that people can make their own stories based on the games or other stuff....just a thought :bye:

<Edit> I also have an author I'd like to recommend to you guys (mostly the men who like snap-action shooters with tons of intrigue and sci-fi) it is excellent. Definitely worth your time.

The author is James Rollins
The books (in order of interesting-ness)

Ice Hunt
Amazonia
Excavation
Subterranean

These are so good. They are so unique. The plots for every book make you like "what the heck is beyond that door? Come on, tell me!"
Just thought you guys might like to look into it.
P.S. I don't know if they sell in Europe, so....

Here is the attachment:

I've thought about writing a book but with the marks I get on my english exams in the creative writing sections I'm not sure it would be such a good idea.
