IIRC, it was selecting the first item to use, then opening the inventory and selecting the second item.

So hey, I noticed that the version on this site has the copy protection removed (Like going to different planets on the galactic map used to result in crazy space battles if you went to the wrong place). Is there any way to patch that back in/download a version that still has it?
