This game is great. The only drawback I could find was that the map was a lot larger than the last volume, which meant I had to spend a lot of time wandering around Rohan's endless plains in order to finish a quest. The automap helped a lot I was already used to the question format because it's the same as the last one, just type in a word to see if the character knows anything about it.

A real shape they didn't make a third part. I'd love to be involved in a fan-made version, if it's possible.

Hey, it's great to see this game here. I was the guy who made the second walkthrough for part one, and offered one for this one, but got a "I don't think we'll ever have this game up" good to see otherwise.

One quick question. Has anyone ever managed to get the character transfer from game one to game two to work? I would love to transport my killing machines from part one over

P.S. I suppose this means I'll have to write a walkthrough

Figured out how to transfer, based on the good old method of trying a bunch of things at random and hoping one works.

Anyway, what you have to do is copy your save file from LOTR 1 into the folder/directory with LOTR 2 and then use the converter. Quite nice to superbuff your characters

Just remember, skills you acquired don't transfer unfortunately.

I liked your comment about LOTR not being for the masses again. I was looking forward to the films but now I kinda wish it had just been for those who could best the drivel that is Harry Potter!

Hey guys. I managed to cllect both parts of the game ages ago, and recently I had a sudden urge to play them again.
Finishing the part 1, I moved onto the Two Towers.... only to realize that I dont possess the Paragraph Book anymore.
Does anyone have a clue if such a Book is acquirable somewhere?

I have it here in front of me (I just picked up the game from a Half Price bookstore). I'm not willing to part with it, but I'm happy to help! What can I do?
