Mmm, Viking metal. I was recently introduced to Moonsorrow while I was hanging out with some German students in Lapland. Now I feel compelled to buy one of their CDs as soon as I see one.

Some of my favourite Metal acts as of late, Dream Theater, classicness such a talented band all around John Petrucci one of the best guitarists in the business today, same with John Myung one of the best bassists and Mike Portnay a killer drummer who turns Neil Peart to goo. :P One of my fav metal bands and been getting into a lot of in flames loving their stuff, can't wait for their album when it hits this february 2006 :Brain:

And Kreator too, seeing them in March over here, loving their stuff.

If you're a bit into really heavy sound, try Amon Amarth. That's Viking Melodic Death Metal - pretty good, but needs some getting used to.
