I'm also after this game that I had for the 486 where you use your mouse and move it around and this cat on the screen will chase it!!

could i have it?with the cat game i think i had it on my old 486 desktop. i might have it on 5/15 i think but when we moved all the 5/15 were stacked on top of the fridge!

Hmm, I don't know whether there are fixed rules for that, really. As a rule of thumb I'd say a few a few weeks should usually be OK, but if it's months, you might want to reconsider, because there is generally a reason why nobody has posted in the thread for months; chances are that even the person who started the thread has lost interest by now.
