Sim Town. Maxis 1995.
Falls under "10 years" rule. However, Maxis is currently brand name owned by Electronic Arts. As EA-owned games are under "15 years" rule, this would not make this game a suitable addition to the site. PS. Lay off the Caps Lock.

Why isn't SimFarm protected then ? It is only 13 years old...
I think games made befora a certain company was bought by EA falls under the 10-years rule (if that company falls under the 10-year rule on the first hand ofcourse). Anyway SimTown isn't in the AW-list so it needs to be updated on that game. Added to the list.
As both the producer and publisher in this case was Maxis, the game falls under the 10 year rule (subsidiary company owned by EA). Had the game been pulished by EA, and produced by Maxis - then EA (core member of ESA) would've been the focal point, and the game would have fallen under the 15 year rule. So, this game is abandoned. At least as far as I have found out sofar. But as with all of the games in the list, the game status might change tomorrow.
