Shadowrun [NON-PC]
Shadowrun, the one and only RPG I found that was really cool, I mean you could buy armor and guns, but the main story was about some guy called Jake Aritmitage I think and you had to go out and destroy the matrix and it's allies or something like that.
It would be great if I could download that and play it again. |

There were Sega, SNES and Genesis versions, but I don't think that there was a PC version.
jimmy7512, this site only hosts PC games. You might search on other abandonware sites for this game. I assure you that at least a site has/should have it. @Wolf Thug: Did you know that every Shadowrun game actually had a different story for every system? :w00t: Mine (SNES) has the story of me trying to destroy the Matrix, like Jimmy says. |

The best RPG on the SNES is Chrono Trigger. End of discussion.
Shadowrun is a good game too, but it's way too easy on the SNES version IMHO. After a while, you can do whatever you want while in reality (of the Shadowrun universe) you should only be able to get one "job" and excell at it while not being able to do the others too well. |

Nope, it was Terranigma... actually at least TRIED t teach some people about how our everyday actions might influence this single, sorry planet we inhabitate...
Anyway, BOTH shadowrun-versions were great, each had their own merits... my stay withe p&P version didn't last long, though... too confusing, too much bad "Blade Runner"-ripp off with to much fantasy in a future world... |

I don't think I ever played Terranigma myself... Tough a little research reveal to me that it been a great SNES game. However, the research I did also lead me to beleive that Chrono Trigger is ranked way higher (9.1 for Terra VS 9.8 for Chrono Trigger) and frankly, having played Chrono Trigger to no end I am quite sure that it's better.
You just can't beat a well written timetravel story. k: |
