I noticed in the review that you mentioned Laser Squad Nemesis. You should be able to pick up a copy of the game for about $20 retail which has a single player campaign tacked onto a great multiplayer game. I picked it up on its pedigree and I was not disappointed.
Edit: Forgot to mention that the link to Laser Squad Nemesis doesn't appear to work. Just head to www.lasersquadnemesis.com to check it out. |

I play Laser Squad Nemesis.
I don't really see the need to actually play this cause of that. Still good, but it really wasn't as good as X-Com. Constructive Criticism: I think the reviewer has too much of a need to elaborate on everything. It's fine, but he doesn't really need to explain it like he's vivisecting some corpse or somesuch. Also the beggining comment was a bit pointless.

Yes, perhaps the reviewer should have spend like 2 min playing the game instead and just say "good game".

You're not getting the point pinhead.
A short and concise description about the gameplay and it's merits would have been much better, but he seems to seep into every crack and examine it. That's not bad, but it's a bit hard for people who just want a overall overlook at the game with some stuff they can bundle up and make a good assumption of the game's quality. It's a matter of pace and effectiveness, to keep attention and quality while the reader is looking for input, and not excessive writing.

When I try to unzip the file I get loads of Unknown Method messages. Anyone know why?
Would love to try this game out cos it reminds me of a game called Rebel Star that was out long before it on the Amstrad. |

Typical for a Horseman archive from my first upload (at least I think it's the one and not another one from someone else). Try WinZip, 7-Zip or, better, Total Commander, they should work.
