I've always wanted to play Ultima Online but I don't have a credit card so I can't pay for it...

Had a look at that Russian site though, sadly I speak no Russian so don't really know what it was saying :bleh:

When other games I play have down servers I play Ultima. You dont have to pay for it, just look up public servers.

Are the public servers easy to find on Google? I'll have a look.

Also, are the public servers any good? I've tried using them on a couple of other MMO games and they've sucked somewhat Of course I'm not expecting the full experience of the main servers, just a decent playable server that isn't too laggy.

Well you gotta hunt around a little bit, but you can get hooked on that about as quickly as any other old game if you get hooked into the community. There are a bunch of good shards out there but you need to find one that fits the style you want to play...

Relistic Skill gain / Level Skill Gain
Magic / No Magic
Humans only / Races

Anyone already played UO Kingdom Reborn? What's the impressions and can you play on other shards? I couldn't figure out how to change game server. Like in old UO there was login.cfg.

i saw they had a new version of the client comin' out. i too am curious about it. i played uo for some 8 years, then finally gave it up for WoW. Doubt i'd come back for long, but i'm still curious to give it a try again. if anyone does give it a shot, post your impressions!
