Speaking of booting multiple operating systems. i just installked WinXP home, but installed it on fat32 file system. does that mean i can still boot the DOS from floppy as i did before? can i play DOS games like that without dosbox? in my opinion it should be like that but...

time to learn abotu dosbox anyway, but am still interested multiple boot.

Yes, as long as your bootfloppy has FAT-32 support (DOS versions above 6.22, Freedos etc).

Yes for DOS gamers like me and others. If possible you should install XP onto a Fat32 partition because It is also good Incase of an emergancy in which you need to get to your data from a boot floppy. Or you need to acess a game off it from a boot floppy.

I use ghost to back up my system. It's a good program and I don't get blue screens in WinXP

For DOS fat 16 is advised. For Win Fat 32.
