Ok, just to say that I've gone to a show of them in Argentina (Buenos Aires), first in a Latin tour. They sounded great, I did pogo (I don't know if that word applies in English) all the freaking night with my girlfriend, who has a very valkiryan metal spirit, jajaja.
I'll put some mp3 of an argentinian band called Mastifal that you can download from their page:
Carnivora (last album)

http://www.mastifal.com.ar/media/09-..._las_horas.mp3
http://www.mastifal.com.ar/media/13-bionecrosis.mp3
From the darkness (English version of the Cd "Desde la oscuridad")

By the way in the middle of the Fear Factory mayhem I bounced into the bass player of Mastifal, jejeje

I must say I'm very dissapointed in Fear Factory last releases, I used to like them a lot, for they were an example of how metal should coexist with industrial electronic. Personally I thought they should have progressed more into dark eletronic soundscapes. However now they sound like some third-sort nu-metal band. Rhys helped them a lot with making great albums such as Demanufacture and Obsolete, but when Fear Factory decided to do things their own way it turned out horrible, below-the-mediocre Digimortal is example. I keep Demanufacture, Remanufacture and Obsolete in my collection, everything else isn't really worth listening if you're looking for industrial metal.

Im rather shocked that no one has mentioned their debut album, Soul of a New Machine!! Granted, it is by far their heaviest release, even delves into 'grindcore' in some moments and I'd guess much to extreme for some, but is absolutely brilliant in my ears.

But ill agree that their level of extremity pales in comparison to other artists/material :P

Well Soul of a New Machine is a cheap likeness of those like Cannibal Corpse and early Therion. Though I like some songs like Martyr, Self Immolation, Scumgrief.

Fear Factory - Descent (LIVE - Life NPA)

This is my favorite video on you tube of FF its a great quality video for Descent, idk if nick can see it. He has dialup? I think you can download the video instead of streaming it so you can watch it.

Is it just me or i am i watching T1 and T2 way to many times this past month? I mean they keep re running it over and over and i flip through the channels and watch it everytime! FF has made that movie more enjoyable

I can't vote in the poll. They're not too brutal, but I don't like them much.
