oooo. Tin whistle is fun. pretty close fingers to an sax ;-) Contrabass Flute? Can't say I've ever seen one of those...I must go google it.

Holy cow! That is freaking HUGE!!! That's like...a freaking ginormous flute. Also very cool :bleh: How much are they you say?

edit: Oooo yeah, Accordian! How could I forget that! I really like playing those. Accordian and mandolin both go really well together (both of which I play)

I play trombone, euphonium, bass guitar, electric guitar and double bass. I can also do drums really badly and sing about half as well as that and mainly in school lessons which causes small problems especially my rendition of flash gordon with own drums

Well my parents did put me in the music school, but I wanted to quit (I really hated my solfegio teacher - theory) otherwise I should start learing the guitar. Never really liked it, but my brother had it (only know the basics - actually I really suck at it). But I tried the keyboards later on and I quite enjoyed it so I'm self thought on the keyboards (but I need to brush up a bit - haven't played for 4 years now - ever since I moved from home).

ahhh, your theory teacher made you learn solfegio? That bites! I lucked out and didn't really have to learn that system for sight singing because I've been blessed with "perfect pitch" (meaning, you tell me to sing a C, I can sing a C) I loved theory though...heck, I still do! It's so interesting to me...I LOVE it!

that's just a bugle of some sort though isn't it? Like, what they announce the arrival of a king with? They have to be big and long because they are compensating for the king But who needs a 10 foot tall flute?

Trombone. My rendition of the theme tune to "Postman Pat" is deeply moving. I taught myself bass guitar, but pretty much gave up, because I know too many people who are to good at bass guitar, and i'll never be that good. One of them is my good friend Drew MacNair. He played bass on the Krankies album 'Fandabee-dozie'. He also said he'd kill me if I told anyone.

But seeing as how he isn't here right now, I shall have to do it for him...
