I had an idea for the updated site that I sent to Kosta. If it's possible, it'd be cool to let each game have a multiple (probably unlimited) number of reviews. The reviews would be sorted by a voting system similar to how each game gets votes of score 1-5. The review that comes up automatically on the main page for the game would be the one with the highest rating. The rest would be listed on a separate page by ranking with it's rating, date, reviewer's score for the game, and the reviewer's name visible.

What do you think?

That's what the topic community reviews is for isn't it?
Being competitive in reviewing would bring up hostility within the community.
Plus there's the games discussion forum.

Sorry, but I think this is superfluous.
But thanks for the idea! k:

That's the exact purpose Community Reviews forum is serving. Nuff said.

Write your review, post it there and contact the admins. They will add a link to the alternate reviews to the "Extras" box.

And I don't know how popular multiple reviews would be.

I mean just look at how boomingly popular the "Community Reviews" thread is...

Yeah. No one writes community reviews. No one comments on community reviews. I've submitted two and the only comment I got on one of them was a PM telling me the review was good but to remove any mention of roms from it.

I think people have the wrong idea about the community reviews section. I'm sure I do. Are those reviews, if they're relevent, supposed to be linked to the original reivew? See, this idea of making the site more Wiki-like I actually agree with. Somehow the community reviews just isn't doing what it was supposed to. This could either be because people aren't willing to write reviews or they don't understand that there is a community reviews section for that.

Either way, I wouldn't discout the idea outright.

PS. Does anyone know what happened to the extra robocop review? The guy never posted it in the community review section like he said he would and I want to be sure to get it there if I can.

I figure it'd make the review that you see first the one that tells you about the game the best. It wouldn't be hostile because it wouldn't be personal, just rankings. Also, there would be no active (and therefore possibly hostile) replacement of reviews. I don't like the idea of having to go to the forums for other reviews either.

we're planning an Abandonia Archives site. Which would basicly be the Abandonia Wiki. But that'll take quite a while.
