Hi,
all fans of the nice game Ultima Underworld II,

TY, Wardencz!
Yr Spoiler was priceless.

I would like to share some thoughts and directions, concerning this game, if You please.

I started the game at 25 November 2010 and finished yesterday, playing every day about min. 4 hours. Totally about 40 days x 4 hours = 160 hours.
Every day I save these 5 files Save 0,1,2,3,4 in my flash memory device after finishing the play.

Well, I was Paladin after problems I met with Fighter. (Have no enough Mana for elementary spell).
I used only magic wands as weapon all the time.

But let starts, mates.

Wait, wait yoga how can you proof you end the game?
OK, I foreseen this Q:
The last words in the game are …. sweet airs of Britannia...
And the last scene is a label with blue text of all your skills..

The only thing I do not like in the game is its cursor image in mode MAP.
It is nonsense. I played so many RPG, never seen such a symbol.

Excepting this minor detail, the game is like a fairy tale, especially in level 1 of EV. The gamer expects every moment The March hare or Cheshire cat to appeared and start talking...
Music: I used my records or net radio Jango with my Philips headphones.
Food: When You enter Goblin zone in B3 try to equip with fishing rod. Then this food problem is solved. Stand near a water (I found the fish even in semi ice water in PC), mode Key, click on symbol of fishing rod and will catch nice fish..
Lighting: With all my respect to Master Scatty I recommend the next action: Goto yr “data” sub-directory and find a file named “shades.dat”. Re-name it some like “shade.dat. Delete the original file, if any. Restart and You will be happy to have Daylight.
Wands: I used the wands – Flame wind, Frost, Massive confusion and Fireball for battle and other wands available. Attention: They break after You used all containing charges.. To avoid this situation I used Duel with 2-5 foes in PC 1 after paying 5 golds to Jospur to arrange battle area. I used Earth one.
This way I increased my level and earn some money. With these many and some jewelery I ask Merzan in KK1 to recharge my wands. I pay 35 golds and some diamonds or like for 5 charges. Be patient and recharge above wands to let say 25-30 charges. Especially before yr 2 meetings with MG and her 5-6 soldiers, which will attack in 3 waves.

To save fast use Ctrl+S. Then Enter. Sorry, I dunno the command for Load.

You may find 3 Eye bulls in the the king chest in KK1.

Will be very nice if some experienced gamer makes even simple Map of the last world, EV..
If possible do not eat these drugs or LSD plants, which will send you to EV.
Hurry in the beginning to increase yr skill asap.
I was very careless and this was the reason to defeat Reaper in 12 level only. Shame!!
Ask everyone to train you and soon you will have no any battle problem.
Do not forget to use Repair option for yr equipment regularly.
I ignored this function and lost 2 nice magic shields.

if YOU do not mind I will answer yr critic for the situation about Level 3 in Praecor Loth.
..Well, I finished Morpheus, the first from The Three, having first software problem already. Left king Umbria and Lethe. Y'know that I was desperate after 2-days long battle with the lord, using about 100 charges of Flame wind, Massive confusion and Frost and/or Fireball. So, I took the fatal decision to run fast as fox, bypassing these two ones and monsters in the left swamp and reach poor dead king. Then I left the tomb with spell Gate travel using moonstone.
Later I prepared to enter again this level and battle zone to do my task with both remaining opponents when the game just freezes 10-15 steps from Entrance...It is no my fail..
Anyway in some good day I will restart the game and using my Save file for this moment will defeat the lord and Lethe..
For the beginners: When start the game, press Control and click 8-10 times on F12 to reach 12000 cycles and have no problems with game speed. The cycles depend on yr PC main processor and RAM used.

Once again: This is one of the best RPG games I played in my life.
The game is not hard and I enjoyed playing UW2.

Yoga- Well, I did 4 games in the last 2010 year – 2-set saga of Ravenloft, Daggerfall and UW2.
I failed in W8-Pagan only. Very strange. I started the game 6 times..
I will rest some days and will start Fallout,a game, strongly recommended me by Master, well respected Paco, Wardencz and 5 H.

--Pls where is Fallout section in AB?

I would recommend 27000 cycles which I'm also using, even my old notebook from 2004 with Pentium M 1.4 Ghz can handle that without any trouble. This amount of cycles might be also why I never had any problems with those countless skeletons crashing the game.

I make some investigations about NW Nights 2: Storm of Zehir and found that my system is not ready for this game..

Sure, you probably right, Scatty.

Now I remember that staying near the wall in the corridor I see how skeletons appeared and disappeared from the wall??!!

Maybe higher cycles will eliminate my problem..

As for me, I (almost) always use the CPU cycles set to "max" works just fine with most games, if it doesn't then i set it to hard number.

It never did anything for me aside of staying at the default 3000 cycles, which is too slow for many games, so I'm not sure if that setting even works.

Ive read that the cd release had bug fixes that the non cd release or first rlease needed a patch for.
i checked the dates and the exe uw2 is dated last modified after any of the patches for uw2.. so i have no idea if this is the cd or the 3.5 disk release..
