They decided to go with the ending where Kain decides to rule, for the sequels.

In Blood Omen you could choose from two different endings, one saving Nosgoth, and the other giving Kain rule, while decomposing the land.
Guess they thought that would make better plot-lines for the sequels.

Just for the record, I don't care if it was setting up a sequel, Soul Reaver's ending was terrible, there's no reason for anyone to go through such a immersive game, and fun to boot, only to be dissapointed that all their efforts and enjoyment ended up in a ending "Oh, I'm going to run away from you, and you'll have to fight me sometime later."

Probably worse than Half-Life's ending.

hi guys, i think u can help me,
im stuck at paladin marach's(or something like this) stronghold i cant kill him , although 20 mins non stop hitting him with mace and magics.How can kill him ?

yeah i agree. i choose to just forget about the ending of soul reaver, its almost as if the suckage of soul reaver 2 somehow leaked back through time into the end of soul reaver 1!

No body knows how to defeat Paladin Malek?

Plz,i know someone can help me.I have a mace and despite hitting thousands times i couldnt kill him,is there a bug or a secret?

Yo yo yo don't use those wepons use the sword and use youre mana to shield youreself ok so when you are protected by youre shield hit him with youre sword ok and when youre shield is over use it again and again and again and hit him with youre sword peace of cake

Hey, i downloaded the game on another place, unzipped the crack but still cant get the "cant find cd-rom" message, anyone who can help me?
I really want play again after my cd was stolen...

the game may also be found in the stores "GIFI" for the price of 3 euro (budget collection sales).

as Fallout (1&2) are my favorite games of all time, and someone said here that Blood Omen may be just as good, you gave me the chill.
can't wait till next week to try it.

guys i think i'm gonna really sound like and idiot but, why does the game doesn't come with the videos?????is it because we downloaded from here? is it a demo? i dont know. the game is GREAT! i love the sound and it gives me nightmares wich is cool for a game.

Is there ANYWAY that i can get those videos? besides having the actual cd? cause i can't really understand the story without it.
