Default Looking for a program that supports an obscure graphics format from ~17 years ago

The file extension is CHP, and what I found out about it through my inquiries elsewhere was this:
Quote:
CHP! - CH compressor for Picture! compressed bitmap
Long story short, it was used to store sprites in a game published some 17 years ago and I'm looking for any DOS or Windows graphics editor capable of reading this format.

Well. I DO know about an old program that could MAYBE support that format.

It's called Compushow I believe. (v.3.0 maybe)
(DOS prog. have it on a shareware disk)

Not really sure about the support, but I know it supported a LOT of format's.
(as far as I know)
