Sorry is this is the wrong forum to post this in.

http://free-game-downloads.mosw.com/abando...he_phantom.html

This guy has taken Return Of The Phantom game, my review, and my walkthroughs - and he is CHARGING to download them. Here it is on AB - http://www.abandonia.com/games/en/88...nofPhantom.htm

Could he be leeching? Is there any way to tell.

Does thse sort of things happen often?

He has taken review for Discworld as well.

Free Game Downloads Site - http://free-game-downloads.mosw.com/abando.../discworld.html
AB - http://www.abandonia.com/games/en/878/Discworld.htm

I don't have time to check all the games just now, but who knows what else he has taken. :wallbash:

Can anything be done about that?

I certainly hope something can be done, because it's dishonorable to steal the work of the other like that, and double-dishonorable to demand payment for it.
However, as these games are abandonware and I suppose on the whole don't belong to anyone anymore, the only thing probably that could be done is to talk to his conscience (if he has one) and ask him to stop stealing from this site...

Maybe we all should e-mail him our protest (he has an e-mail address at the bottom of the page: gms@mosw.com - usually, I wouldn't post an e-mail address here, but this guy sure deserves tons of spam)

We could "politely" demand him to take out what he steal... maybe even "threaten" him... Of course that the most probable effect is that these actions won’t do anything.

Does he happen to have ESA-protected titles there for downloads of which he is charging? If so, we could sic ESA on him.

Other than that, I agree that mass-mailing him requests to take down the reviews he has appropriated would be a good idea.

He has the King's Quest games available for download, and charging for them - http://free-game-downloads.mosw.com/abando...ture/games_k_l/

I think KQ 4, 5, & 6 are still ESA. <_<

EDIT:
He also has Quest For Glory 3 - http://free-game-downloads.mosw.com/abando...ges_of_war.html
