"Destination" is. (indeed it's a difference from WinXP)

After the path to the executable, add
-conf [config name].conf

And it should work nicely.

Thanks ! Now it work fine :brain:

As a side note : yes, it's a difference from XP but even so simple. I've read all the tutorial & readme, on dosbox folder, on Abandonia and on VOGONS forum but never thinked that -conf can be used in this way.
Sometimes i feel myself like a stupid piece of rock :wallbash:

@Data : I first tried copying the shortcut and then creating new one. The result is the same one : the property window already posted.

Maybe parts of this can go into the abandonia magazine. Each issue mabye 1-2 sections thats if The Fith Horseman doesn't mind.

Win98, I have to congratulate you on your penchant for always stating the obvious. Have you ever considered that it might be infuriating for other users, though?

Including this guide (in completed form) in the Abandonia Magazine has been a granted since the posting of this thread.

This is a good resource to people that are not familiar with DosBox, pinned.

Since the original archive is dead, I'm re-posting the parts that did NOT make it into the Beginner's Guide.
The part about tailored configs was like that before Data pointed out the possibility of using incremental configuration files.
