I'm actualy working on an Abandonware Host right now. It's hosted on my server on my pc. It gives out about 40 kb/s speeds so it's not ideal for hosting games but it's a free service and I don't mind what games you put on it because it's not ESA protected. As long as it's not something that's obviously warez.

Couldn't you get around that by, before anyone downloads anything, forcing them to create a forum account, posting something, then before they download something to provide the account's username and password?

Just so, you know, you actually have posts?
