Default QFG3 problem with Vista

I am also having trouble importing my characters. I save them to the c: drive but when I go to load them in the next game it doesnt show up in the directory. I have tried saving them to a jump drive also but that was a no go. If somebody has any advice i would appreciate it.

To answer your question, most old DOS games looked directly for a floppy drive when looking for save files. Try mounting an A: and/or B: floppy drive with the directory which contain your save files when you try to import them in the sequel.

This is, of course, assuming that you are using DOSBox.

Edit: Oops... Sorry, I made a typo when creating the new thread name. It should be QFG3, and not GFG3... My bad.
