Alright, so I figured I would like to hear the input from the board members on my voice. Last time I was back to visit my brother, he asked if I wanted to record a some with him because he had free studio time. I said sure, he pulled together a bunch of his friends and made a little orchestra, and we made this recording. Background on myself: I'm a sixteen year-old tenor, taking lessons for a year and a half now. This was recorded about a month ago, and my voice has developed a little more brighter timbre, so as to sound more like a tenor, rather than a high baritone, but the quality is still almost the same. If the link comes up all funny, just right click, save as, and put .mp3 as the extension, and it should work. So....please tell me what you think. The song is E Luccevan Le Stelle, from Puccini's Tosca. Please give me feedback and constructive cricism (even YOU SUCKS if that's what you think) Thank you!

Really impressive. k:
Your voice breaks off on some places as I noticed. As if you wouldn't have enough air to continue, and just little longer and it would sound complete (I hope you understand what I mean). But you sing really professional, and important - with feeling. I don't know how much training in singing you already have, but I guess a little more lung training and you can start your career. |

yeah, I know I take some breaks in some parts of the phrases for a quick breath (like in the first run, just before the top two notes), but I did it mainly because I'm not at the point yet where I can do an upward passage like that, and then keep going up to a fermata on a high A. I had to sneak the breath. But thank you, I know I need to work on that a bit (although I think it's more a mental thing thang physical, because I can hold a note out for like, twenty three seconds before having to sneak a breath)

It opens a new window with gibberish. I tried saving as, but same thing - it's linked as an html file, I think.
