i want to run the dos version without the cd. i have copied all of the .scn, .cdp and .mus files over to the hard drive from both discs but i have had no luck in getting the game to play without a cd
edit - i have just copied over the .smp, .idx and .txt files from both discs as well (in seperate directories for each disc) and it still won't run
i really don't want to download the underdogs version either (that would really piss me off if i had to :ranting

Create ISO of the game and play it from ISO.

my cd-rom drive won't read cd's to image (i have tried many times) anyway, the cd-rom drive is temperamental when reading some cd's (like discworld 2 cd 1) and when its in use it tends to slow the computer so much its hardly usable.
