Hey guys,
I played this really old game when I was like 10, and it was on my friend's console, but I don't know which one. The game was, i think, either Donald Duck or Goofy going from building to building playing various games and collecting parts for this boat he/they were making. Does anyone know this game? The second game that was on the same system was a fighter/platformer in which there was a king or something and a LOT of big mushrooms to jump on as well as a forest of some kind (kind of surrealistic, methinks). If anyone can identify any of these two games and the system, it would be very much appriciated. Just feeling kind of nostalgic for those two games for some reason, even though I didn't play them that much. Thanks a lot |

Hmmm, if you could remember what platform it was that would help, I remember a Donald Duck Platformer for N64, maybe thats it? I dunno, try going on some emulation site and looking for them, might find em there.

no, its definatelly not for N64! I played this game back in like 1994, and it was probably on an even older system! It was in colour though... i think :P I'm asking around here becasue I've been looking for it for some time, but can't seem to find it anywhere.

You are not talking about Duck Tales, right? I don't remember much about the game so...
As for the other, Super Mario Brothers? Or perhaps Super Cauldron? |

Well I remember Donald Duck's Playground - You played Donald who had to do some odd jobs to collect money - to make a playground for his nephews... The game you described sounds similar - so it's probably a sequel.
The other game does sound like Super Mario Brothers (jumping on mushrooms and fighting King Kupa - that's the name right?). |

Congradulations guys - you got one! Yes, it is donald duck's playground and now I know that the system I played on was a comodore 64! Awsome stuff, thanks so much.
For the other game - it is DEFINATELLY not super mario and its not super cauldron, the screenshots don't look familiar. It is in a jungle-like setting and is with a fighter dude who looks like conan or something... I think you can be several characters including a woman and a fat/strong dwarf-like man... maybe some d&d side-scroller??? I'll go to an emulation site and check out c64 roms! Thanks for the help again. |
