Everyone needs bow. Best healing is NOT Shared Life (unlike for MM7, where the best team substitutes knight for paladin). Insanity is the biggest danger for your mages (nullifies spell points). Hiding and hitting through walls is common tactic. Get used to the chance for real-time combat. Remember that you can fly up-down while fighting turn-based (makes fighting dragons much more easier).
