And of course you already tried Compatibility Modes and Virtual PC 2007, right?[/b]
I'm still wondering why my actually-not-so-great PC is able to run it in plain XP Pro.
I installed it from my original floppies! :brain:

Maybe because of its' "not-so-great" hardware being more compatibile with the game than that of those "oh-so-great-but-cannot-run-old-games" machines? :P

Splendid, T5HM!
I knew that old crate was still good for something.

I actually tried this game on my Windows 98 box and had the same problem. How do I set compatibility mode in there? I thought Windows 98 was fully compatible with Windows 95 games. As Icewolf pointed out, Dosbox does not even want to load this Windows game.

Compability mode is FOR Win95 OR Win98 applications/games... ... on XP-machines. Don't know if 2K has it, too.
I'm afraid you won't find it on an Win98 machine...

The game works in Win 3.11 in DOSBox (don't expect much speed though)

No there's just Yoot Tower.
IMO it sucks.
Sim Tower is really cool since it something quite innovative. I still spend hours of time creating towers.
But that' goes for almost every SIM game (I never dound sim earth and sim life too cool...)

To topic:
I think we have to do something about the Sim Tower data.
I owe the original three floppies. Shouldn't we be able to host those in a way so the game can be properly installed?

I downloaded the game from here and it works perfectly fine on the XP without the compatibility or dosbox.

OK, that's the feedback we need. k:
But that makes me still wonder why so many people have problems.
