Hey there everyone,

I'm looking for a game that I used to play as a demo in my youth in 1997.

You chose a futuristic car with certain values for speed, acceleration etc. and then you drive around in a sort of "dome", i.e. a huge covered area. I don't remember exactly what you were supposed to do, but it was about driving around with other opponents (the other cars) and you could shoot or at least damage the other cars, I believe. There were also platforms you could drive on and do something (you never left the car or anything). You saw your vehicle from behind, outside view. I only remember that the overall best car (with the highest average values) was coloured LILAC and called NEXUS, and the FASTEST car was a coloured WHITE - there was also an orange car etc. But I don't remember any of their names. After a certain time passes, a ring of laser rays slowly closes from the outside edge of the dome towards the exit, destroying everything in its way, and you had to make it as quickly as possible to the exit.


The game came on a promo CD containing demo versions of many new games of the time (1997), such as Diablo, Neverhood, War Wind, and some other stuff incl. a weird adventure game that was like a puzzle.
