Me and Ism have decided to fight a meeting engagement on WinSPMBT with PBEM.
He will play as Australia and me as Greece. (yes he will kick my...behind). The setting is a meeting engagement where both of our armies are in the offensive to capture points. The time is 2006. It is going to be a very interesting battle I think. While we could upload screenshots as we go, but it would make keeping movements and set ups secret very difficult to say the least. I am open to suggestions though. Edit: It will be Australia vs Greece, not UK. |

the battle is on, on the first turn my forward looking eh, scouts, have located an ammo truck of the opponent. Ammo truck destroyed quickly. One less ammo carrier for the other army
I won't give more details now (to avoid helping the enemy) but there will be a full detailed statement at the end of the battle. |

The Battle takes place in the Australian Outback in the present time and its a 5000 point battle. I have rushed my units in to try and stop his rapidly advancing force which seems to be consisting of mostly armor. I wonder who shall win this battle I have obviosly lost an ammo truck :help: , and his tanks are coming in fast. hopefully it shall be greek bodies that litter the outback and not are own.

It feels very good playing another PBEM game. The last one for me was Panzer General about oh 6 years ago I think. Then again, I do have bad memory. |

It is used for (mainly) turn based games and what you do is play your turn, then save the game and send the file(s) to the next human player in line, who usualy is a bit far away from you (in this case I am in the UK and the opponent is in Australia). When he receives the file, he loads it through the game and it is his turn, he can see what happened when I played (only the moves/attacks that his units were able to detect), then he plays his turn, save the game and send the file(s) back to me. We play the first couple of turns by messenger, and it helps when both have the time to do so, but a large part of it will be through email, the "traditional" way. |
