I have not problems with games based on Sex, Gratuitas violence or Politics but I draw the line on Religion!

So, my title refereed to the feeling of being bashed with a bible, koran, torah or what ever man-made guide book. Sorry if give the sentiment of intolerance to your right to believe but these types of propaganda games irritate me no end!!

I'm not going to harp on so delete my comments if you wish to avoid "flaming" on this thread

Ah then, seems I've misunderstood you. Sorry. I thought you were saying my newspost was religiously offensive. You're partially right, actually. But let me assure this game won't convince anyone to change their beliefs. Plus understanding the Bible or the Quran (or any other religious book) requires much more than just remembering random verses from them.

It's 100% a propaganda game, but Abandonia hosts this kind too, because they're games, after all. And we save games from being abandoned.

Propaganda games SHOULD be abandoned.

And religious propaganda sure is high on my 'DO NOT WANT!' list.

If you don't like it, don't download it.

Keep your beliefs in the closet too!

You feel like you're being bashed with the Bible? Why, is someone forcing you to download and play it or something?

These christian games (yes, *not* religious but purely christian games. Show me a muslim or buddhist game for a change...) appear rather often on the site lately. Almost seems like there's a bunch of christian people here who upload and review games more often than others.

I assume that most visitors to your site don't come here to download some sort of bible quiz (this game seems to be no different in that respect) but some "real games" which have not been designed with a certain purpose and view on the world in mind.
It's only natural that people start complaining because they don't agree with the content.

"If you don't like it, don't download it" is a cheap excuse by the way. If someone uploads a nazi game you could just say the same. Of course you wouldn't because worldwide nazi games are generally considered dangerous and christian games just ridiculous. However, the point is that you should make sure that the site remains "clean" and not simply neutral when it comes to a particular type of game which might be offensive to your main audience.

Quote:
"It also teaches valuable truths and lessons."
And that certainly is highly offensive to most of your visitors. Better delete that line from the review.

I absolutley agree with Wolpertinger that espacially that line is very offensive.
I mean there is no other argument for the five points than that line and good sound and graphic. I don't care if there are christian games on abandonia, but i think it's anxious when a game is reviewed that good because of content and not gameplay and complexity.
A reviewer should try to stay objective and I don't see it in the article. It's not about some conspiracy, it's about quality!
