AGD Interactive has made some great VGA remakes of the two kings quest games, Im just wondering if they are going to make one of the third game in the series.
If they are, what would you say about it?

According to what I have heard, they are going to stop after they have done the Quest for Glory remake.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't this tread be in the game discussion forum?

I was really hoping they would, but I'm not even certain they're ever going to finish QFG2.

I was talking about it the other day with someone, and he said that another team was remaking it, but I never found out who exactly

Maybe this is it, though the actual site seems to be hosed:

But I'd really love it if AGDI remade KQ3 - their remake/revamp of KQ2 was freaking awesome. I hope this other team is just as good.

I think the VGA remake looks good, but the sprites dont look right, but then again I havent seen these characters in VGA form, so who am I to judge.

KQ3 has been remade already by Infamous Adventures, who are now working on Space Quest 2: Vohauls Revenge.

Default Kq3

I played the remake of KQ3 recently - it was really nice to be able to play that one w/out the FRUSTRATING old fashioned Mahannon's Lab sequence. Having to figure out what to type in to create your spells was so annoying in the original that i never got past it. There are a few bugs in it tho - i wasn't able to climb the cliffs towards the end of the game, thus i never finished it. Still, it's def. worth the download - and i know they've fixed most of the gameplay issues since i've last played.

well I have just played the game some months ago and I didn't have any problem with the climbing. It was very well done and i highly recommend this remake.

I loved the Kings Quest remakes, so I'm looking forward to everything that AGDI and Imfamous Adventures do in the future. I lurk on their forums all the time, hoping for that one extra screenshot, or perhaps even release dates...!
