Hi!

When I was about 8 years old, around 1998, I used to play this non-3D, topdown, racing game. It is not Ignition which I also loved, but the cars looks similar to them in Ignition, but it wasnt in 3D.

The tracks were pretty simple, all of them on tarmac I think, and the cars could vary from ordinary to a UFO-like craft.

The special thing I remember from this game was the ability to put your own race together very neatly and also the cars' tires and the skidmarks it did.

The tone of the game was very light and childish but plenty of fun!

Please help me find this gem!!

Thank you for your effort, but sadly it wasnt the game. Its even lesser 3D effects than in Excessive Speed and I think it is older than 1999. I will keep looking and hope someone can give me a hand.

btw, Im pretty sure it is to Windows (may be DOS).

I heard such sentence before... Racing UFO looks very familiar... But I cannot remember exact game (I am not racing fan, sorry). But as most my pre-2000s reviews I seen on HotU, it can worth to check any of current Home of the Underdogs sites.
