Hi there,

I cant run BLOOD. I know it runs under DOSbox, even though I don't even manage that, and I will read through all the DOSbox hints in this forum.

But according to your site and other sources, it is supposed to also run under XP just fine, and I remember downloading the shareware version somewhere and running it under XP with no problems at all.

However, when I launch the Blood.exe from your site's version, only a little window opens and closes again and that's it. Not even some kind of error message.

Any ideas? Please help, this one of my favorites and I'd really like to play it once again!

I DID use the search function of this forum but all it found was topics relating to get BLOOD running under DOSbox.

just because stuff doesnt get stickied (¬ _ ¬) doesnt mean it isnt in the forums if you do a search - the threads with dosbox also mention xp. i know cos i posted on most of them.

I tried the first link over and over, but eventually i always get this error:"Unhandled exception encountered while loading"

I think this was discussed at lenght in the actual Blood thread in games discussion. I wanted to give this a try after reading the review, but it seems like too big a hassle for just one game...

i think youre right, now i will make a partition for win 98 and than *meep* off muck bitchin problems with blood
