![]() Someone gave me an old Compaq Presario laptop. It runs Windows 98. I wonder what percentage of Windows 3.1 games will run on this machine.

![]() Most smaller games, like Castle of the Winds, should have no problem (this game even seems to run on Win7 flawlessly).
Some more complex, as Japo said, might need WinG. Some, though probably very rare cases and rather programs than games, might need Wind32s if they were specifically written to require that environment - even if running on a 32 bit Windows such as Windows 98 (SE). |
