At the moment I'm trying to get Fifa International Soccer started. I used your boot disk and the game starts, but there is no sound. I load the driver on your site, but I cannot open the autoexec.bat.

when I type edit autoexec.bat I get the message "bad command or filename" and at windows XP I did not see a autoexec.bat on the disk.


Can someone of you help me?

You should better try running the game in dosbox and not in windows xp. It should work just fine. There is a guide in the forum if you do a little search.

at dosbox it doesnt work dont ask why. When you start the game, dosbox crashes...

then there is VDM sound, way easier to use also
btw we could help you with running it in dosbox if you wrote us whats the matter

well ok. When I start it at dosbox I get the message "Exit to error: RET from illegal descriptor type 0"

I havent heart yet, that someone get it to start at dosbox, so I tried it with your boot disk and with this disk the game started, but was soundless. I just have to put the driver's directory in the autoexec.bat....In my eyes this less complicated, then to get it started with dosbox

well thing is that in the abandonia boot disk there is autoexec.bat

and also, believe me dosbox is not that complicated. if you are interested in running other games with it you can try if other applications work for you in the dosbox and tell if you get the same error

In the past I'd got good experiences with dosbox, but it didn't work with FIFA International Soccer. Perhaps you want this game at your site?

well, you could post in requests forum=) it needs to be approved for abandonware status first
